Thirty questions,answered.
Everything brands, studios, labels and agencies ask before a first campaign. Anything else: clipping@rupees.com or +91 81032 22555.
01Getting started
What is Rupees Clipping?
A network of 5,000+ meme, edit, film and review pages that post your release in their own voice. You pay per 1,000 views, counted from the posts themselves.
Who is it for?
Production houses, OTT platforms, music labels, D2C brands, sports and talk shows, and the agencies that run them.
How do we start?
Fill in Start a campaign, or write to clipping@rupees.com. We come back within a day with the window, the rate and the page mix.
How fast can a campaign go live?
Footage in the app today, reels on the network tomorrow. Hundreds of reels go up on day one of a window.
What do we need to send?
The cleared footage, what to say, what never to say, the dates and the budget. A link to the trailer, the song or the show helps the pages.
Is there a minimum budget?
Windows have run from a few lakh to several crore. Tell us the number you have in mind and we will tell you what it buys.
02The network
Who posts?
Approved pages: meme, edit, film and review, entertainment, news, lifestyle, sports and regional. Each one applied and was looked at by a person.
How big is the network?
5,000+ creators with 1B+ followers between them, in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi and Bhojpuri.
Can we choose the kind of pages?
You set the mix: the kinds of pages, the languages, the regions. The pages then choose the campaign the way they choose anything to post.
Can we exclude pages?
Yes. A page on your do-not-post list never sees the campaign, and a page can be removed from a live campaign.
Can we ask for a quiet window on a category?
Yes. It goes into the brief and the pages see it before they pick the campaign up.
03Content and control
Do the pages post whatever they want?
They post within your brief: cleared footage, the lines you want, the lines you never want, the window. Every reel is on your dashboard the minute it goes up.
Can we see content before it posts?
The network moves fast because pages post within the brief rather than one by one through a queue. You flag or hold any reel from the dashboard, and a page that breaks a rule loses the campaign.
What if a page posts something wrong?
Flag or hold it from the dashboard. The page hears from us, the reel comes down or gets fixed, and a wrong reel is never billed.
Can pages use their own edits and memes?
That is the point. Their cut, their caption, their audience. Your brand lines and your do-not-say rules stay yours.
Reels only, or carousels and statics too?
Reels carry a release. Carousels and static posts run too when the brief needs them, each counted its own way.
What about copyright and music?
You clear the footage and the audio you send. Pages use what is in the app, and the brief says what may not be changed.
04Counting and money
How are views counted?
Each post's own count, refreshed every 15 minutes, on your dashboard. No screenshots, no self-reporting.
What do we pay?
A rate per 1,000 views, agreed on your brief before launch. One invoice after delivery.
What happens when the budget is used up?
The meter stops. Everything already live keeps getting watched, and none of those views are billed.
What about bought or fake views?
Every post keeps a view curve. A spike that adds views but no new comments is blocked before it is billed.
Do we pay for a reel that is deleted?
No. A reel that comes down stops counting at once.
Can we cap spend per page or per title?
Yes: caps per title, per page and per campaign. A page at its cap keeps posting; the meter does not.
How do we pay?
By invoice, in rupees, with GST. Clients outside India are quoted and invoiced in dollars.
05Reporting
What do we see while it runs?
Every reel with its page, link and count, engagement, views by day, top pages and top reels, refreshed every 15 minutes.
Do we get a report at the end?
A closing report on its own page, with a PDF: every reel, every page, the curve, the comments.
Can our team have access?
Add your brand team, your agency and your title leads. Each sees what they should, nothing else.
Do we get the comments?
Comments are read for you: sentiment, questions, and the lines people quote back.
06Agencies and international
Can an agency run this for its clients?
Yes. Many do. One brief in, one report out, under your name.
We are outside India. Can we buy this?
Yes. Brands, studios and labels anywhere can run a campaign on the network. Quotes are made in dollars, on the same per-view model.
